5th week!

The experience with the host families has been really meaningful at least for me, It really interesting to share a house with people that you don't know, the American life that we have been enjoying will be part of growing. I am use to this kind of life, it is no so easy the adaptation but you have to do it, it is a opportunity that you have to take advantage. I hope that the program keeps the way. So if you are homesick, come on face it, this will never happen again.

3rd week Vol 1

My third week studying in the ELI was so exhausting, even that it was short was tiring for everyone. Our week began with our leadership seminar with Asset-based Versus Need-based Approach class, It was a topic a little bit confusing, but we understood what we need to know. We re took our in Morrison Library about blogging, and we learnt how to make a video story in a really cool program.

2nd week in Delaware

The first week has ended, now the second one shows me a different side of Newark, warm, fresh but stressful. Sharing with other cultures shows you that you are not the only one in the world. Our dinner with the organization People to People was really meaningful, we experienced a nice meal, the gave us some books because they are non profit organization and it goal is gather acquaintances to become friends. Our second trip of the week was to Wilmington where we discover the importance of art, in the Art Loop, a interesting project which artist can get together with one goal. Make the business city of Wilmington in a place where people can enjoy culture.

1rst week in delaware!

My first week in Newark, Delaware. It's was pretty awesome week. I can not believe that I am Here sharing this experience with people from many places of the world. It is difficult staying in a country for 2 months with people that you do not know but our sacrifices for this will be seen in seven weeks with our civic engagement project and our grades in the ELI course.
thank you everyone!
